Individual shot outside Grand Central Market, sending out clients running

A single person was struck Saturday in a shooting near Grand Central Market, sending out clients of the landmark food hall running for cover.

The shooting was reported at 3:56 p.m. in the 300 block of South Hill Street, Los Angeles authorities stated. A Grand Central Market worker stated it happened at an entryway to the popular downtown location.

In a declaration published to Instagram, the marketplace stated the “separated event” happened on surrounding Hill Street.

The victim remained in unidentified condition since 4:30 p.m., according to Los Angeles Cops Department Officer Rosario Cervantes.

The male shooter was at big, and LAPD officers were browsing the location.
