EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -A Chippewa Falls lady is charged in Eau Claire County Court with taking more than $100,000 from an organization.
48-year-old Lori Burich is implicated of taking more than $112,000 from the Walmart Train in Eau Claire.
According to the criminal grievance, Burich was used by the franchise from October of 2019 through mid- January of this year. Owners of the dining establishment state she worked her method approximately General Supervisor. Among her duties was to drop off day-to-day money deposits at the bank. A lot of those deposits were missing out on.
The criminal grievance states Burich at first confessed to the owners she took the cash and signed a file stating so, nevertheless, she later on informed private investigators she did not take anything.
According to the criminal grievance, a relative of Burich informed a colleague of Burich that Burich has a betting issue. In an interview with a private investigator, Burich confessed she has concerns with costs excessive cash on lotto tickets.
Burich is arranged to appear in court on May 17, 2022.
