WINONA LAKE, Ind. (WNDU) – On Thursday, some skilled young regional artists assisted enhance a retirement community.
Trainees from Grace College are the artists behind these paintings for the Grace Town Retirement Home.
Trainees Julia Frone, Bianca Jimenez, Claire Mumaw and Cheyenne Williams dealt with the task over the previous 8 weeks. The group teamed up to develop a cohesive series of paintings around a Noah’s Ark style.
It’s the very first of lots of works being produced the neighborhood’s unique memory care wing. Trainee Sofia Lerro will continue the task through an internship this summer season. She will develop an extra set of paintings themed around the 4 seasons.
Teacher Kim Reiff stated the trainees are utilizing art to return to those in requirement.
” Our trainees are utilizing their art to serve the neighborhood, and this will bring much pleasure to the locals of Grace Town and their checking out households,” Reiff stated. “This is the method of Grace.”
